1. Use Of The Vehicle – The hirer cannot assume the use of the vehicle between outward and return journeys, nor that it will remain at the destination for the hirer’s use unless this has been agreed with Tiger European. Tiger European reserves the right to levy additional charges for any additional mileage or time over and above that originally agreed. The charges will be pro rata and in accordance with booking confirmation.

2. Animals - Will not be carried on any vehicle, except guide dogs.

3. Payment – All monies must be made in full prior to the hire taking place unless a deposit has been agreed by Tiger European. If any outstanding monies are due Tiger European reserves the right to take the outstanding monies at any time from the original credit/debit card which the hirer paid with. The hirer and/or credit card holder agrees that a chargeback will not be raised to any credit card issuing company with regards to booking payment.

4. Change Of Vehicle – Tiger European may provide a larger vehicle than the size hired at no additional charge. Tiger European reserves the right to subcontract to another coach operator to cover the hire. If the booked vehicle breaks down we have the right to use any other vehicle.

5. Unless the hirer has advised of a particular route or places to be passed en-route, which will be specified on the confirmation letter, the route taken will be at the discretion of the company and/or the driver. The vehicle will depart at the times agreed by the hirer, and it is the responsibility of the hirer to account for all passengers at those times. The company will not accept liability for any losses incurred by the passengers who fail to follow instructions given by the hirer.

6. Breakdown/Delay – Tiger European may give advice on journey times in good faith, but does not guarantee the completion of a journey at a specific time, and will NOT be liable for inconvenience or loss caused by breakdown or delay which is an unforeseen circumstance.

7. Drivers Hours – The hours of operation of the driver are regulated by the law and the hirer accepts the responsibly of ensuring the hire keeps to the hours and times agreed by the company. Neither the hirer nor any passengers shall delay or otherwise interrupt the journey in such a way that the driver is at risk of breaching regulations relating to drivers hours and duty time. If any breach is likely to occur the hirer will be responsible for any additional costs.

8. Conduct of Passengers – The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passengers whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations will be removed on the driver’s authority. The hirer will be responsible for all damages caused to the vehicle by hirer or passengers during the hire.

9. The hirer is responsible for any rubbish made by the passengers and if the vehicle is left with rubbish the hirer will be charged cleaning charges. Soilage charges will be charged as well.

10. Notices – No bill, poster or notice is to be displayed on any vehicle without prior consent of Tiger European.

11. Alcohol – Under no circumstances may alcoholic drinks be carried on board or consumed upon any vehicle.

12. Smoking – All coaches are non-smoking. No smoking is allowed on any vehicle at any time.

13. Personal Belongings – Tiger European are not responsible for any damage or loss caused to passengers personal belongings. Passengers are responsible for their own belongings.

    WITHIN 5 DAYS TO 3 DAYS OF DEPARTURE - 50 %CHARGE

SELF DRIVE Terms and Conditions

1. For any vehicle hire a £250.00 deposit is required. This is to be paid by debit/credit card only.

2. We accept all major credit/debit cards (no AMEX) and any cheques made payable for hire costs must reach us at least ten days before hire period.

3. The minimum rental age is 25 years. The maximum rental age is 70 years. Drivers under 25 years may be considered after consulting our insurance company at an extra charge.

4. You will also need to provide two forms of I.D. when hiring any vehicle. If you hold a photo licence both parts must be produced. Paper licenses must be valid and you will need a passport or other form of I.D. International licenses will be required if an overseas license is not clearly identifiable as a driving license.

5. Any driving convictions will need to be submitted to our insurers prior to hire to confirm full cover.

6. Any additional drivers must be arranged and paid for before hire and are not included in the basic rental price.

7. The vehicle must not be used for racing, competitions, rallies or reliability trials, carriage of goods for hire and reward, commercial traveling, or any purpose in connection with the motor trade.

8. No credit will be made for any unused portion of the rental period.

9. You the hirer are responsible for any parking or speeding fines whilst the vehicle is on rent to you. Tiger European will pass the relevant charges on to you plus any administration costs.

10. Any damages made to the vehicle while in the hirer’s possession will be paid for by the hirer.

11. The vehicle is generally supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full or refuelling charges will apply.

12. 24 hour roadside assistance is supplied with all rentals in the UK. Tiger European are not obliged to provide a replacement vehicle but will do if one is available. European breakdown cover can be arranged at extra cost to the hirer.

13. Unlimited mileage is applied to all hires within reason.

14. The rented vehicle is to be returned in a clean and undamaged condition, any cleaning fees that are incurred will be charged to you the hirer.

15. If the vehicle is returned later then the time specified then a charge will be applied by Tiger European.

16. Should the keys not be handed in to an employee of Tiger European at the return depot then a charge will be incurred.

17. A delivery and collection service is available at extra cost.

18. Our vehicles are exempt from congestion charges and LEZ compliances.

19. Our insurance policy excess is £250.00, £500.00, £750.00, £1000.00 {depending on type of license held}. The Driver/Hirer/Organization is fully responsible for any damage caused to our vehicle whilst in their possession.

20. Deposits paid will not be refunded in all cases and additional charges will apply for any damage caused to our vehicles.
