​TERMS AND CONDITIONS
USE OF THE VEHICLE
The hirer cannot assume the use of the vehicle between outward and return journeys, nor will it remain at the destination for the hirer’s use unless agreed with Tiger European (UK) Ltd. Tiger European (UK) Ltd reserves the right to levy additional charges for any extra mileage or time beyond what was initially agreed. Charges will be applied on a pro rata basis and in accordance with the booking confirmation.

ANIMALS
Animals are not permitted on any vehicle, except for guide dogs.

PAYMENT
All payments must be made in full before hiring unless Tiger European (UK) Ltd has agreed upon a deposit. If any outstanding balance remains, Tiger European (UK) Ltd reserves the right to charge the original credit/debit card used for payment. The hirer and/or credit card holder agrees that a chargeback will not be raised with the issuing credit card company regarding the booking payment.

CHANGE OF VEHICLE
Tiger European (UK) Ltd may provide a larger vehicle than the one hired at no extra charge. We reserve the right to subcontract another coach operator to cover the hire. If the booked vehicle breaks down, we can provide an alternative vehicle.

Unless the hirer specifies a particular route or places to be passed en route (as confirmed in the booking letter), the route taken will be at the discretion of the company and/or the driver. The vehicle will depart at the times agreed upon by the hirer, and it is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure all passengers are accounted for at those times. The company will not accept liability for losses incurred by passengers who fail to follow the hirer’s instructions.

BREAKDOWN/DELAY
Tiger European (UK) Ltd may provide journey time estimates in good faith, but does not guarantee arrival at a specific time. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by unforeseen breakdowns or delays.

DRIVER’S HOURS
Driver hours are regulated by law. The hirer is responsible for ensuring the hire adheres to the agreed hours and times. Neither the hirer nor passengers may delay or interrupt the journey in a way that risks breaching driver hour regulations. Any breach may result in additional charges.

CONDUCT OF PASSENGERS
The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passengers breaching statutory regulations may be removed at the driver’s discretion. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused by passengers.
The hirer is also responsible for cleaning up after passengers. A cleaning fee will apply if the vehicle is left with rubbish. Soiling charges may also be incurred.

NOTICES
No bill, poster, or notice may be displayed on any vehicle without prior consent from Tiger European (UK) Ltd.
​
ALCOHOL
Alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited on all vehicles.
​
SMOKING
All vehicles are non-smoking at all times.
​
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Tiger European (UK) Ltd is not responsible for any loss or damage to passengers' belongings. Passengers are responsible for their items.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

Within 3 days – 24 hours of departure: 100% charge

Within 5 days – 3 days of departure: 50% charge
SELF-DRIVE HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A £250.00 deposit is required for all vehicle hires, payable by debit or credit card only.

We accept all major credit/debit cards (excluding AMEX). Cheques for hire costs must be received at least ten days before the hire period.

The minimum rental age is 25 years, and the maximum rental age is 70 years. After consulting our insurance provider, drivers under 25 may be considered at an additional charge.

Two forms of ID are required for all hires. Photo licence holders must provide both parts of their licence. Paper licence holders must provide a valid licence and a passport or other ID. International licences will be required if an overseas licence is not identifiable as a driving licence.

All driving convictions must be reported to our insurers so they can confirm full coverage before hiring.

Additional drivers must be arranged and paid for before hire. They are not included in the basic rental price.

Vehicles must not be used for racing, competitions, rallies, reliability trials, carrying goods for hire or reward, commercial travel, or any purpose related to the motor trade.

No credit will be issued for any unused portion of the rental period.

The hirer is responsible for parking or speeding fines incurred during the hire period. Tiger European (UK) Ltd will pass on relevant charges, plus any administration costs.

The hirer is liable for any damage to the vehicle while in their possession.

Vehicles are typically supplied with a full fuel tank and must be returned full; otherwise, refueling charges will apply.

All rentals include 24-hour roadside assistance in the UK. A replacement vehicle is not guaranteed but may be provided if available. European breakdown cover can be arranged at an additional cost.

Unlimited mileage is included for reasonable use.

Vehicles must be returned clean and undamaged. Cleaning charges may apply.

Late returns will incur additional charges.

The vehicle keys must be returned directly to a Tiger European (UK) Ltd employee at the return depot, or additional charges will apply.

Delivery and collection services are available at an additional cost.

Our vehicles are exempt from congestion charges and comply with LEZ regulations.

Insurance excess: £250.00, £500.00, £750.00, or £1,000.00 (depending on the type of licence held). The driver/hirer/organisation is fully responsible for any damage while the vehicle is in their possession.

Deposits are non-refundable, and additional charges apply for any damage caused to our vehicles.
